The lightweight, insulated Guardian™ roof system was designed and developed over a ten year period and with one purpose – to replace the typical glass or polycarbonate roof that was used in the construction of most UK conservatories.

The main focus was on the dynamics and performance, however the overall weight of the replacement roof, which needed to be installed onto the existing conservatory windows, doors and frames was always a big priority. During this period extensive tests were carried out both for compliance and approval to very vigorous structural and thermal standards. The result is not only a brilliant product but a very practical solution, one which has been the biggest home improvement.

On the outside the Guardian™ roof comes with a great range of roof tiles to choose from to best match your home. On the inside you can choose from a modern plastered finish or if your room is naturally bright a timber finish is maybe the better option. Guardian Roofs are fully energy efficient achieving a maximum U value of 0.18 W/m2K. This enables a conservatory to be used as an extra living space all-year round. Lightweight & durable, Replacement Conservatory Roof Panels are a ‘sandwich’ construction – with your insulated layer(s) sandwiched between weatherproof and specialist, impact resistant PVC layers. Internal & External layers can be smooth or grained, are extremely resistant to scratching, are anti-graffiti, self-cleaning and are resistant to sea water.

Panels can provide excellent heat insulation and reduce external noise, with the thickness of your insulated layer only governed by the depth of your conservatory’s existing roof purlins and rafters.

External Colour Options

Panels are available in almost any colour within the RAL colour range, although standard applications are white or cream.
